It's been a while...

Its been a while since i update anything here..

In one mths time, i will be free. free of the mental stress of dragging myself to work everyday.. free from dragging myself to do work in the ofc..

A very difficult decision to make but i did it after consulting several ppl, bs inclusive. He told me to go ahead if it makes me happy and no point asking me to stay if i am not happy here.. with that approval, it sealed my decision and the letter was submitted today..

Aug 13 is my last day in this company. :)

Sigh..

And the covering of duties starts yet again, when will the curse be broken?

8D Korea Discovery & Jeju

23 April : I am gg to book my July tour this Friday after work at SA Tours. So far 4 pax has booked this tour.. now we are waiting for 6 more for a confirmed departure.. praying hard tat during natas fair or SA's house fair would have more bookings for 23 july.. And after tat will be dinner at Window on the Park at Holiday Inn Parkview.

Havent been updating lately cos too many things have been happening during the weekends.

Starting from 2nd April onwards till now.. almost every weekend, i am fully booked, packed with appointments.

24 - 25 April : This weekend, i am gg to Ungu's concert and celebrating my niece's bday during the day. Sunday will be spent cooking in preparation for my nephew's bday.. we decided to celebrate earlier as everyone (dad, harith's mum and 3rd sis - they are all working shifts) are available on tat day.

26 April : After whole day of cooking and entertaining guests at home, I took leave on monday to rest, but will be meeting the usual gang for dinner on monday nite at Tiffany's Cafe & Restaurant.

30 April : The doters of Mr Masdar will be treating their parent to a sumptuous buffet dinner at Carousel. As we three has gotten our bonus in march (them) and april (me), it has been a tradition to treat the parent to dinner. And this dinner will be a Pre-Mother's Day dinner too.. :)

Well, im sure somewhere nearer to mother's day, there are bound to be another dinner some other place else.. haha..

I have some confirmed plans for the next two mths.. more will be coming i guess..

15 may : BBQ at east coast with penguin's family..

4 - 6 June : Family Chalet at Costa Sands Pasir Ris... Booked 3 units side by side.. gonna be a fun time spent with the family..

25 June : Dinner for my dad's bday.. venue has yet to be decided.. tinking of new places we have never tried..

Let's see if the next two mths will be as hectic as march and april.. :)

A very close call...

I saw a sony ericsson advert on yahoo main page.. it is their new hp model, Vivaz... was attracted to it as it has wifi and facebook and utube.. so i was so very tempted to buy one.. but my 1 year contract can only be renewed on 28 May 2010.. Hand itchy to have the phone but yet cant be reached.

So.. to satisfy my curiosity, i went to have a look at the phone in M1 shop in Parkway Parade on Friday. The phone was super slick and so beautiful in its RUBY color.. very slim too... but the phone was damn expensive.. without contract, it is $963.. wah liew.. so bloody damn expensive!! so i skipped the idea and will only buy the phone in may..

Today.. i went out again and was so tempted to buy the phone, yet again.. -_- so after a late lunch from Charco's AMK, i drove to CTE/SLE and reached Causeway Point.. There is a Singtel shop at the basement.. My mum's contracct can be renewed anytime.. but i have to pay for the phone price.. the qn was how much? So i checked with the CSO and he told me tat with her plan, i can buy the phone at $468... hmm.. i can buy the phone now and claim from the coy's flexi benefit.. but tat would leave me with $132 only... so after discussion with my mum, i finally decided to make full use of the $600 flexi benefit when i claim for my holiday trip in july.. while i tahan for another 2 mths to get my phone from starhub... it might just cost me $98 or $118 as my plan is of the higher plan.. At least, tat saves me about 50% of my holiday package.. and that money cud be used for shopping and stuff...

So.. tat was a close call for me.. and tat discussion with mum did hinder me from making an "expensive" mistake... Thank you Mother! Hehe.. *Mother's day coming.. what to buy for her?"

Btw.. i am finally gg to Korea + Jeju Island in July!!! Yahooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

School Holidays

Althou the school holidays did not have much impact on me since i have left school longgggg time ago, but it did made me a happier person this week cos the roads were almost empty! No traffic jams at Cashew Road.. no traffic jams at Upper Bt Timah Rd, no traffic jams at Clementi Road.. And best of all, buses were empty too, i can find seats on the bus becos all poly students were on holiday too..

Being in the spirit of the school holidays, I have decided to bring Harith to

Disney on Ice tomorrow and

Underwater World Sentosa on Monday. Yeay!! Let's hope the weather will be just fine!! Not too hot and no rain please.. :P

PS: Craving for sushi but nurul's nt free to eat with me.. :( maybe i'll drag my parents out for dinner later.

Dinner at Seafood Harvest

Met up with Lina & Ita to celebrate Lina's bday tat falls on 8th March. Rushed to bugis and had dinner with them at Seafood Harvest. I ordered the Lobster Slipper while the other two ordered baked rice and steak and fish combo..

After tat, walked arnd to ease the stomach before continue to have dessert at Swensen's. Managed to slow talk with the manager and got the firehouse bday sundae FOC!! So evil of me. hehe...

Wanton Affair

Ever since i tried the dumpling at Kak Imah's place last weekend, i had the cravings for it again.. so i asked her for the recipe and went to Giant IMM to buy the ingredients after work on Friday..

Went home and straightaway assemble all the ingredients and started away...

Harith 1st virgin hair cut

Went to parkway parade to have his hair cut at the junior hairdresser. so expensive! $20!

Anyway.. he was scared when we first stepped in but after Thomas CD was turned on, he simply forgot abt the lady snipping his hair away.. :)

CNY Steamboat

Went to Penguin's sister house in TPY for steamboat dinner... Ever since i was introduced to home steamboat last year, i got hooked.. Now am looking forward to their steamboat session.. althou the whole house will smell of bbq food and our shirt and faces and body gets oily, it was still fun having steamboat session with them..

Surprise at Bt Batok CSC...

Celebrated one of the girl's bday on 19 Feb.. Booked the treehouse at Bt Batok CSC.. Was running arnd like mad trying to organise the surprise party.. From buying KFC and Pizza Hut to getting a taxi to Bt Batok.. To nurul stuck at ana's block while waiting for ana.. wawa sneaking to fetch nurul to bt batok but end up having to rush to bt batok herself becos bday girl was spotted somewhere.. sigh.. wat a nite but we all had fun... here are some of the pics taken during tat nite.. more pics in FB.. :)
